We have the pleasure to present an example of the implementation, which CLOSES to the environment’s demotion but OPENS to its protection and to the GREEN ORDERLINESS.Within the urban, developed area, in the heart of and old Warsaw district, we designed a house situated in the surrounding of buildings from the 60’s. Construction according to the design by Przemek Lisiecki OPENS the new chapter on the historical map of the SADYBA district, concentrating on better life in the beautiful area.

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

CLOSED HOUSE – OPEN HOUSE This house is an illustration of the idea of the sustainable development triangle.AESTHETICS architectural design fits perfectly the found construction and environmental tissue. The block itself was designed in such a way to stylistically refer to the houses cubes from the 60’s. However, the architect gave it the more modern, minimalistic touch. INTEGRATION house opens for the embankment and found birds’ garden from the garden side. Left for over 12 years, building degraded the nearby environment, however, in the further part of the area natural garden arouse, full of trees and birds, some of them even under environmental protection. Our design fulfills the assumptions of integration with the natural environment as well as with inhabitants, creating friendly, more sustainable,  which encourages the social inclusion. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMNENT  we took great care to choose materials which are fully recyclable. We improve the quality of life, speed up the green transformation and fulfill the climate goals. AESTHETICS OF the modern, ecological architecture marks the harmony between the form and technology in the widely conceived environment. The author of the design also aimed at increasing the social awareness concerning the advantages of the ecological solutions in the family construction field. The architect also wanted to find balance between density of buildings and quality of life in the healthy, urban environment. During the project duration we used our social media to promote advanced technology of the prefabricated glued wood system HBE, we encouraged others to get familiar with the advantages of this process of construction.

OPEN HOUSE – CLOSED HOUSE We have the pleasure to present an example of the implementation, which CLOSES to the environment’s demotion but OPENS to its protection and to the GREEN ORDERLINESS. Within the  urban, developed area, in the heart of and old Warsaw district, we designed a house situated in the surrounding of buildings from the 60’s. The new house was built in the place occupied before by the ruined building, which was dangerous for people, devastated the environment and blemished the neighborhood. With this design we managed to STOP the long lasting process of the environmental destruction caused by the negative interference of the old construction tissue on nature. The old building also disturbed the architectural order in, one of the most beautiful, Warsaw districts, called SADYBA GARDEN TOWN. Therefore, our aim was to FINISH this degrading phase through the new vision and architectural solutions, which made the house open to the GREEN ORDERLINESS. Construction according to the design by Przemysław Lisiecki OPENS the new chapter on the historical map of the SADYBA district, concentrating on better, common life for its inhabitants within the beautiful area. Przemek Lisiecki’s original design presents a residential building for a family of four, compact villa in the urban environment. Its author created a „GOOD BUILDING” – according to the assumptions, it is balanced by the environment, giving the feeling of safety, care for the nature, and being friendly for its inhabitants. It does not pollute the environment and provides satisfaction of use, thanks to the low maintenance costs as well as the pleasure of living  inside it. The house is also nice to look at, which is important for the neighbors and passers bye.
Please give information about the key objectives of your project in terms of aesthetics and quality of experience beyond functionality and how these have been met
Przemek Lisiecki’s original design presents a residential building for a family of four, compact villa in the urban environment. Its author created a „GOOD BUILDING” – according to the assumptions, it is balanced by the environment, giving the feeling of safety, care for the nature, and being friendly for its inhabitants. It does not pollute the environment and provides satisfaction of use, thanks to the low maintenance costs as well as the pleasure of living  inside it. The house is also nice to look at, which is important for the neighbors and passers bye. BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SURFACE The building surface is 90 m2 on the ground of 550 m2. We adjusted the design to the ground conditions and development plan. We took care of the preservation of the biologically active surface by maintaining 82% biologically active surface in relation to the total investment area. TECHNOLOGY Due to the pro-ecological character of the investment the main assumption was to limit the negative effects of the construction to the minimum. The building was made of components prefabricated in the technology of glued wood. That allowed us to shorten the building process to the indispensable minimum. We also limited the use of construction machines and tools, which produce noise.

The house – its construction part, the overground area, was completed in 6 days! It had the meaningful influence on the environment – quiet works on construction site, located at the embankment and the green areas (birds’ gardens), was fully justified. Resignation from the traditional technologies was caused, not only by the ecological awareness, but also by the need to design an energy saving building, which uses the latest technologies. Choice of wood, as the main resource, was also not accidental. The material is characteristic for excellent technical properties: thermal and acoustic insulation, lightness of the construction and long durability.

PREFABRICATED WOOD TECHNOLOGY nice climate of the interiors controlling the humidity thanks to the use of the diffusive method during construction process (wood has the ability to absorb and return humidity which ensures keeping it at proper level); excellent protection against noise and fire; the highest possible ability to accumulate heat among all standard building resources, which allows to get the best isolation during summer. The heat coming from the solar energy is absorbed and stored for long time, whereas only the little part of it, goes into the building. At night ,the heat overdose is expelled outside. In winter, the mechanism works the other way round and is responsible for very good thermal isolation and nice climate of the interiors; durability of wood together with its ability to long term storage of CO2 contributes to the positive ecological balance. None of the competitive building resources can be obtained, treated and exploited with such a low use of energy and weak burden for the natural environment. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PLANTS USED IN THE BUILDING Heating Blowing heating by the air-air heat pump. Integrated system of aerial heating, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation with the recovery of heat, function of the humidity and air quality control Heat pump is a modern and ecological heating equipment. It constitutes the most efficient way to heat the building and prepare hot, usable water. It is ecological source of the clean GREEN ENERGY. Electric energy Use of the photovoltaic installation. RAINFALL WATERS Waters collected from the roof surface and communication strings, which are polluted mainly by the mineral slime, will be directed to the storage reservoirs. Gathering water reserves is a necessity now, not only on farms but also in city gardens. Besides, the visible savings on the use of the municipal water, we also contribute to the drinkable water resources protection.
